Welcome to the

enate van der Graaff, of the hobby's European artists, started participating the hobby in 1986, taking a break from about 1991 to 1995. Although born in Germany, she's been living in Holland (the Netherlands) since 1991.

While she did mainly remakes until 1991, when Renate came back into the hobby, she worked creating original sculptures, which is still her main interest. She released her first resin in 1999, and sculpted a traditional scale large standard donkey jack named Jonathan in 2001 for the Horsing Around magazine.

She loves all equine breeds (even "other animals", including dogs, cats, camels, llamas, sheep, cows, etc.). Renate paints mainly in oils, and utilizes all other sorts of paint and other techniques, too. It depends on what works best for the best result.
